Bar culture is a big deal in Dublin but it's not quite what you'd expect it to be...	...Most people aren't going to bars to get drunk but rather to hear the live music that Dublin is famous for and to socialize	In Ireland, the most popular liquor is beer. In most bars they don't pour shots, just beers that they have on tap. Guinness is called "The Black Stuff"
A lot of the buildings in Dublin, aside from being beautifully built, have cascades of multi-colored ivy down the sides.	There are also beautiful and full flower baskets above the majority of bars and shops	Houses might look similar in Dublin but they're nowhere near the cookie cutter houses that we have in the US - there's something different about each one
These light posts are all over the city - they have a clover on them which is the national flower of Ireland	Oscar Wilde, though widely disliked when he was alive, is widely celebrated throughout his home of Dublin now. There's a statue of him lounging in Merrion Square park.	So much of the architecture is still what it was hundreds of years ago which provides for some amazing stone detailing.
